Nikki Beach Club Lunch – After the Rain a Rainbow and Edibles Divine!
So after a gray, windy and rainy day, our next day dawned brilliantly blue and full of promise! A magnificent and colorful rainbow greeted us at 8 AM as we sipped our morning coffee that we brought with us from Starbucks (Colombian bean to be precise). The sea was calm and the sky bluebird blue and cloudless, so a Nikki Beach Club lunch day was on the schedule!

The morning walk on St. Jean beach allowed us great people watching as we passed Tom Beach Club La Plage. It was jam packed with sun worshippers, beach bar regulars and late breakfast diners all at 11:30 AM. The beach boys were in high gear delivering Evian water, rosé, towels and umbrellas. You can walk up and rent a spot for about $60 Euros and stay from dawn to dusk. The bikini tops were disappearing and the fun just beginning!

A slight breeze cooled us as we put in our hour walk, sipping on the bottle of Evian water we brought with us. Our minds were on Nikki and Nikki was on our minds! So leaving the beach walk, I freshened up in the Nikki Beach Club ladies room with a quick rinse off and spritz of Heavenly eau de toilettte from Victoria's Secret and tossed on my Sunday Boutique white eyelet, one shouldered dress over my bikini from Pain de Sucre. I was ready and the wonderful manager Patrick greeted us as we admired all the wonderful improvements he had made at the Nikki Club.

We sat at a front row table for deux and the Nikki Beach Club's new beach beds, Moroccan tables and beach parasols were attracting a big crowd. The DJ was spinning his tunes as the international set arrived ~ the Russians, Brazilians, British and Americans as well as the French were all enjoying a sunny day on the magical, dreamy Nikki Beach Club beachfront. Champagne bottles popped along with the music and Mr. B and I ordered Château des Marres and sipped on its rosey deliciousness while waiting for our entrees of Nikki Beach Salad (salmon, olives with lovely tossed greens) & St. Tropez Salad (niçoise – tuna, eggs, green beans and potatoes)! It was fantastic and then the models strutted about in Nikki Beach boutique fashion while we sipped our Passion Fruit Punch.

It was sublime today at Nikki Beach Club restaurant and we are returning Sunday for Brazilian day for which we have reserved a beach bed by the water's edge with a parasol. We look forward to the friendly jet set crowd that will arrive to celebrate a dream like afternoon and to make memories for all their days to come!!! Thank you Patrick and Nikki Beach for giving us the dream opportunities!
